They were organized by members of the Helictit, Vitosha and Academik caving clubs from Sofia. Within these expeditions, many discoveries were made. Exploration was focused primarily on the BS 9-11system and many new areas in the cave were surveyed. In 2012 the cave`s denivellation was increased to -265 m. In the 2013 we increase the cave`s denivelation to - 307 m, wich making it the fifth deepest cave in the country and the deepest one in Pirin and South Bulgaria. Time, place, access, and characteristics of the residence and caves in the area: The expedition will last 16 days, from 23th August 2014 to 07h September 2014, in the Banski suhodol cirque in North Pirin. The expedition`s base camp will be setup at 2300 meters a.s.l., at the site of an abandoned ski camp. Accommodation is in self-provided tents (there are leveled places for tents on-site). The approach to the camp is from the "Peshterite" area above Bansko; the trek is between 5 and 7 hours depending on the luggage. Expeditionary luggage is transported to the base camp with hired pack animals.
